Project Coordinator

This is an entry-level position for a motivated candidate that is looking to start their career in the software development field. The candidate would be a client-service oriented, problem solver, have a positive/confident personality, and be well organized. The position will perform support activities for the Resource Manager for the firm. Duties to include:

  • Schedule resources based on availability and other constraints
  • Coordinate with partners and external resources
  • Monitor Budget to Actual and facilitate change orders as needed
  • Understand client expectations and ability to communicate effectively to resources
  • Communicate and escalate any issues with the project
  • Review and approve all time, materials, and expenses utilized for the projects
  • Manage workflow of partner data in software management system
  • Maintain database of contracts
  • Ensure SOWs in place for all partner work
  • Ensure all consultants have time entered and approved by deadlines each week
  • Close out project upon completion
  • Assist with creating ad-hoc reports for the field
  • Manage/maintain workflows/email alerts
  • Set-up user accounts for new hires
  • Onboard new hires on how to use the software system (enter time, expenses, review schedules, etc.)

Minimum Requirements – Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office – Word (basic), Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint (basic) and Outlook, experience with and ability to navigate and generally function in SharePoint a plus
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing task and demands
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in an efficient manner
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, self-directing, motivating and able to work independently
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and independent judgment when making decisions
  • Ability to work with various levels of management across the corporation
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize
