Senior Consultant – Advisory Team

The Senior Consultant is responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to complex business problems. This position will work directly with clients to establish requirements, document specifications, and test client specific solutions and deliver them.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Responsibility for efficiently transforming business requirements into viable solutions that meet or exceed client needs.
  • Coordination of activities covering specific functional areas including:
    • Developing a client brief into a viable solution or deliverable
    • Documenting user requirements and the solution or change
    • Agreeing on appropriate software solutions with the users
    • Agreeing with the client on the appropriate solutions and how existing features and/or functionality will be modified
    • Developing appropriate project, resource, and communication plans that can fit within the overall project plan
    • Work with others to provide accurate estimates regarding the amount of effort required to deliver the solution through the normal project life cycle
    • Designing and agreeing on appropriate testing plans
    • Implementing software solutions within project scope and timelines
    • Agreeing on delivery schedules with the client
    • Working with the client and others to effectively deliver the required solution
    • Delivering appropriate training materials and end-user documentation
  • Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location, or services
  • All other duties as required for this position

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience analyzing and developing and defining solutions and/or processes for the company’s clients
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to build client solutions
  • Ability to travel to client locations on a regular basis
  • Educated to a minimum of “A” level standard
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, IT, and finance users alike
  • Possess a passion for exceeding client expectations
  • Client focused and committed to timely delivery of appropriate solutions that meet (or exceed) user requirements
  • Must be highly motivated and have a flexible working attitude
  • Methodical and well organized and able to work well under pressure
  • Familiar with the complete project cycle, from presenting the initial business case to post-implementation review
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of practice management systems, its modules, and ancillary functions
  • Strong integration skills with the complete range of Microsoft products – including Word, and Excel, as well as other products
